1. General
The legal relationship between the event participant and Krassin Consulting GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “KC”) is governed by the following General Terms and Conditions in conjunction with the registration form. All services within the scope of our events are based on these “General Terms and Conditions for KC Event Participants” of KC.
2. Registrations and conclusion of contracts
You can only register via our corresponding event website. Each registration is binding for you as soon as you receive a confirmation of receipt of your registration by e-mail from our event service (time of contract conclusion). As the number of participants for our events is limited, we consider registrations in the order in which they are received. A contract is only concluded upon binding confirmation of registration by KC.
3. Cancellations and right of withdrawal of the organizer
a. For seminars/training
A confirmed registration can be cancelled by the participant in writing. In the event of cancellation or rebooking at the participant’s request up to 20 working days before the start of the seminar, we will charge a flat fee of $ 49 plus VAT, unless the participant can prove that the expense was significantly lower. In the event of cancellation up to 10 working days before the start of the seminar, 80% of the total amount will be due. After that or in case of no-show of the participant, the full seminar fee will be due. Seminar bookings are transferable upon agreement with KC. Please send rebookings and cancellations in writing to info@lec2-fpga.com.
b. For presence congresses/conferences
Each registration (even with reduced or free participation) is binding. Cancellation or rebooking free of charge is possible up to 3 days before the start of the event. After that or in case of no-show, we will charge an expense fee of $ 49 plus VAT, unless the participant proves that the expense was significantly lower. Registrations are transferable after agreement with KC. Please send rebookings and cancellations in writing to info@lec2-fpga.com.
c. At presence summits
Each registration is binding. Cancellation or rebooking free of charge is possible up to 3 days before the start of the event. After this date or in the event of no-show, we will charge a flat-rate fee of $ 149, unless the participant can prove that the expense was significantly lower. Registrations are transferable after agreement with KC. In the case of a booked hotel room, the cost price must be paid in any case, unless the booking can be transferred to another participant on the part of the organizer/hotel. Please send rebookings and cancellations in writing to info@lec2-fpga.com.
d. Cancellation of events
We reserve the right to cancel for organizational reasons (for example, if the minimum number of participants is not reached or the speaker is unable to attend at short notice due to illness). KC will try to rebook you for another date and/or another venue if you agree to this. Otherwise, you will receive a refund of your participation fee; there are no further claims.
4. Fees
You will receive an invoice from KC for the participation fee, the cost share in the case of a hotel booking (Summits) or the expense allowance. Please note the payment modalities indicated on it. Only temporary participation in our events does not entitle you to a reduction of the participation fee.
5. Execution variance
Should valid reasons make this necessary, we reserve the right to change dates, venues and speakers. Please note that event dates with a lead time of more than six months are only a preview. You can already register for these dates today. However, we reserve the right to revise the content, duration and, if necessary, to increase the fees.
6. Copyright
According to § 2 ff. Copyright Act, event documents, recordings of webinars, videos and software are protected by copyright. We reserve all rights, including translation, reprinting and reproduction of the conference documents or parts thereof. No part of the conference documents may be reproduced in any form – not even in part – without the written permission of KC – not even for the purpose of teaching – in particular processed, copied, distributed or used for public reproduction using electronic systems. Event materials may only be used by participants personally and for their respective professional activities. Purchased recordings of webinars and videos entitle only the purchaser to use the copyrighted content for his or her own professional purposes.
7. Liability
KC shall only be liable for damage caused by its employees intentionally or through gross negligence. Any further liability by KC is excluded. KC is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect content of the webinars, videos, lectures and documents of the speakers. Our event content is designed in such a way that an attentive participant can achieve the goals announced by KC. However, KC is not liable for success.
8. Privacy
KC protects the personal data of the participant and takes all necessary measures for its security. The data is collected and used by KC in compliance with the provisions of the European Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and other relevant data protection regulations for the processing, support and evaluation of the events offered and for the purpose of optimizing the event offering.
Attendance at lectures, workshops or similar sessions will be recorded on site using suitable technical means (e.g. QR code or RFID). Furthermore, KC uses various service providers for the event. Contracts for commissioned data processing are in place with all of these providers. This data is stored in the service provider’s system exclusively for the respective event.
The participant may object to the use of his/her data for information purposes at any time in writing, stating the full address and the relevant event offer to Krassin Consulting GmbH, Hugstmattweg 30 79112 Freiburg, Germany, e-mail: info@lec2-fpga.com or have his/her address changed.
9. Film and photo rights
At KC events, photographs and film recordings are made, which are published in various media. These recordings are associated with the pictorial representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is random. A display of the images will be made on our homepage as well as on the websites of our media partners, print media and social media channels. By registering for the event, you consent to publication in the above manner free of charge. If you do not agree to the publication, you can revoke your consent at any time. In this case, we ask for immediate notification by e-mail with the exact designation of the image in question. In this case, the image will be removed within a reasonable period of time and will not be published further.
10. Contract language
The contract language is English.
11. Final provisions
Verbal agreements are only valid if confirmed in writing by KC.
The contractual relationship and its performance shall be governed exclusively by German law. Place of performance and jurisdiction is – as far as legally permissible – Freiburg i Breisgau. Should individual provisions of the contract be invalid in whole or in part, or should the contract contain a loophole, the validity of the remaining provisions or parts of such provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or missing provisions shall be replaced by the respective statutory provisions.
